Deer Creek Church (Littleton, CO)

Stained Glass Denver worked with Deer Creek Church in Littleton on a uniquely conceptual stained glass project inspired by the five Presbyterian “means of grace”: word, water, bread, wine, and prayer. The church needed an installation that would soften intense morning sunlight while conveying deep spiritual themes without using literal imagery. Our designer, Maria, pioneered a new airbrushed-and-fired painting technique to create soft, ethereal cloud formations symbolizing the meeting of heaven and earth. Gothic framing elements were blended with contemporary abstraction to achieve the perfect balance of tradition and modernity. The five symbolic concepts were subtly woven throughout the design, offering layers of meaning that become even more powerful once explained to the congregation. The installation has been widely praised for its beauty, depth, and ability to enrich the worship experience through both light and theology.
