Stained Glass Denver proudly collaborated with Saint John Paul II Catholic Church in Pagosa Springs on a chapel addition that required careful artistic planning and delicate theological symbolism. The church hoped to honor the four apostles through stained glass artwork, but the shape and size of the chapel’s windows created unique design challenges. After researching each apostle’s life and legacy, our team incorporated symbolic motifs such as circular medallions, radiant sunbursts, and descending rays of heavenly light to express divine inspiration and apostolic mission. To align with the parish’s budget, we simplified background areas while dedicating precise hand-painted detail to the most meaningful elements. With soft, glowing tones and balanced composition, the completed installation brings warmth, clarity, and spiritual depth into the chapel—uniting architecture, symbolism, and artistry in perfect harmony.
