The Family Crest Stained Glass Windows for the Chateau V Mansion in Evergreen, Colorado
Recently, the owners of a 6 bedroom mansion in Evergreen, Colorado decided to put their home on the market. And though the home itself is breath-taking, just wait until you hear about the asking price. The Chateau V is priced at $17.5 million, an undertaking that will go down in real estate history books as being the largest of its kind for the Evergreen/Conifer community.
A Multi Million Dollar 19th Century Style Mountain Home
The home is situated on 35 sprawling acres of mountain wilderness located just a short drive from Evergreen Lake and is nothing short of magnificent. It was modeled after the 19th century Biltmore House in Asheville North Carolina and looks like a modern day castle. From every terrace of the home, you can see the west side of Mount Evans, a popular destination for those seeking adventure in the Rocky Mountains.
In addition, the home features a splendor of fine architecture, luxurious amenities, and high-end decor. This includes stunning wrought iron railings, crystal chandeliers, a wine cellar, four fireplaces, a private library, and more. In addition, it also houses custom family crest stained glass windows that were made right here in Denver, Colorado by Scottish Stained Glass.
Creating the Stained Glass Windows for the Evergreen, Colorado Castle
A few years ago, we were approached by the owners of the Chateau V. They were seeking an artisan that could create unique stained glass panels for their home. We worked with them to create custom family crests designs for their grandchildren and family members. The stained glass was installed in the white marble spiral staircase of the home.
It was truly a pleasure for us to work on this project. Not only did we know that the stained glass would become part of such an incredibly beautiful building, but we also knew that the art brought joy to the owners of the home. Their family crest panels meant something special to them and would be something they could cherish for as long as they lived there.
